1. Introduction
RainbowlinQ is intended to be a safe, respectful, and welcoming space for LGBT+ people and allies to connect, share, and communicate.
These Community Guidelines explain what behavior is and is not allowed on RainbowlinQ. They work together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. These Guidelines are not a legal contract. They are practical rules for users and moderators.
By using RainbowlinQ, you are expected to treat others with respect, protect people's privacy, and help keep the community safe.
2. Respect Other Users
Do not harass, bully, threaten, intimidate, stalk, or abuse other users.
You may not:
- Send repeated unwanted messages.
- Insult, shame, or humiliate someone.
- Threaten physical, emotional, sexual, financial, or reputational harm.
- Follow someone across the platform to target them.
- Encourage others to harass, attack, or overwhelm another person.
- Use posts, comments, reactions, messages, calls, or profiles to target someone.
Disagreement is allowed. Abuse is not.
3. No Hate Or Identity-Based Abuse
RainbowlinQ does not allow hate or abuse targeting people based on who they are.
You may not attack, degrade, or target someone based on:
- Sexual orientation
- Gender identity
- Gender expression
- Race
- Ethnicity
- Nationality
- Disability
- Religion
- HIV status
- Age
- Caste
- Other protected or personal characteristics
Prohibited content includes:
- Slurs or hateful insults.
- Dehumanizing language.
- Hateful stereotypes.
- Calls to exclude, isolate, punish, or harm a group.
- Encouraging violence or harassment against people because of their identity.
4. Protect Privacy And Safety
Protecting privacy is a high priority on RainbowlinQ. Do not share, expose, or threaten to expose another person's private or sensitive information without their clear consent.
You may not post, send, reveal, or encourage others to reveal someone's:
- Real name or real-world identity
- Home, work, school, or live location
- Phone number, email address, documents, or account details
- Sexual orientation
- Gender identity or gender history
- HIV status or health information
- Relationship status
- Private photos, messages, or media
- Family, workplace, or community information that could identify or endanger them
- Any other sensitive personal information
Outing another person is strictly prohibited. This includes revealing or suggesting someone's sexual orientation, gender identity, HIV status, relationship status, location, or real-world identity without permission.
Examples of prohibited behavior:
- Posting "This person is gay" without their consent.
- Sharing screenshots of private messages to shame someone.
- Posting someone's live location.
- Revealing that someone uses RainbowlinQ.
- Threatening to expose someone to family, employers, school, or community members.
5. Consent And Sexual Content
Respect boundaries and consent at all times.
You may not:
- Send unwanted sexual messages, images, videos, or calls.
- Pressure someone for intimate photos or sexual content.
- Use manipulation, guilt, threats, or deception to obtain sexual content.
- Coerce someone into sexual conversation or activity.
- Share sexual content involving someone without their consent.
- Sexually exploit, blackmail, or threaten another person.
If someone says no, stops responding, blocks you, restricts you, or asks you to stop, you must stop.
Pornography And Explicit Sexual Content
Consensual conversations between adults, including discussions about relationships, dating, attraction, sexual health, and sexual experiences, are generally permitted.
However, users may not:
- Send unwanted sexual messages, images, videos, or recordings.
- Share pornography or sexually explicit media publicly on the platform.
- Pressure, coerce, manipulate, threaten, or deceive someone into providing sexual content.
- Share intimate content involving another person without their consent.
- Advertise, promote, or arrange commercial sexual services.
- Use sexual content to harass, exploit, blackmail, intimidate, or endanger others.
RainbowlinQ may remove content or accounts that violate these rules.
6. Authenticity And Impersonation
Be honest about who you are.
You may not:
- Impersonate another person.
- Create fake accounts pretending to be RainbowlinQ support, staff, moderators, or partners.
- Use misleading identities to deceive, exploit, or harm others.
- Pretend to represent RainbowlinQ unless you are authorized to do so.
- Use another person's photos, name, or identity in a deceptive way.
Parody or roleplay must not confuse users into believing you are someone else or officially connected to RainbowlinQ.
7. Fraud, Scams, And Exploitation
Do not use RainbowlinQ to deceive, exploit, or financially harm others.
You may not engage in:
- Romance scams.
- Financial scams.
- Phishing or attempts to steal passwords, codes, accounts, or payment details.
- Fake emergencies or deceptive fundraising.
- Blackmail or extortion.
- Threats to expose private information unless someone pays money, sends images, or does something for you.
- Exploiting vulnerable users for money, housing, sex, documents, immigration help, employment, or emotional dependence.
8. Platform Abuse
Do not misuse RainbowlinQ or interfere with how the platform works.
You may not:
- Send spam or repetitive unwanted content.
- Use bots or unauthorized automation.
- Scrape, collect, or copy user data without permission.
- Create accounts to evade bans, blocks, restrictions, or moderation actions.
- Manipulate reactions, comments, visibility, reports, recommendations, or other platform systems.
- Use RainbowlinQ in a way that disrupts the service or harms other users' experience.
9. Illegal And Dangerous Activity
Do not use RainbowlinQ to promote, organize, or engage in illegal or dangerous activity.
This includes:
- Threats of violence.
- Encouraging self-harm or harm to others.
- Criminal exploitation.
- Human trafficking or sexual exploitation.
- Coordinating violence, abuse, or coercion.
- Sharing instructions for dangerous activity that may seriously harm people.
- Using the platform to target, locate, or endanger individuals or communities.
RainbowlinQ may remove content or accounts that create serious safety risks.
10. Reporting And Safety Tools
Users help keep RainbowlinQ safe. If you see behavior that may violate these Guidelines, you should report it using the reporting tools available in the app or website.
Where available, users may also use safety tools such as:
- Block
- Report
- Privacy settings
- Location and discovery controls
Blocking someone does not prevent RainbowlinQ from taking moderation action when needed.
Do not attempt to bypass blocks, restrictions, privacy settings, or other safety controls used by another user.
11. Enforcement
RainbowlinQ may take action when these Guidelines are violated.
Possible actions include:
- Removing content.
- Reducing content visibility.
- Sending warnings.
- Limiting access to features.
- Restricting messaging, posting, discovery, calls, or other tools.
- Temporarily suspending an account.
- Permanently removing an account.
When reviewing violations, RainbowlinQ may consider:
- The severity of the behavior.
- The context.
- Whether the behavior was repeated.
- Whether the behavior targeted or endangered another person.
- The risk to user safety.
- Attempts to evade moderation or continue harmful behavior.
RainbowlinQ may act more quickly or more strongly when behavior threatens someone's privacy, safety, identity, or ability to use the platform without fear.
